Inside Food and Drink Federation’s New London Office

The Food and Drink Federation, a membership organisation that represents and advises UK food and drink manufacturers, recently reached out to interior design & fit-out firm Peldon Rose, to design their new offices, located in London’s Holborn neighborhood.

“The goal for their new 7,500 sq ft office design was to promote more flexible, better ways of working and it has become more of a destination for staff, providing them with a strong platform to support their role within the food and drink industry. FDF needed their office design to be flexible as they often host visitors and their members in the office for large ‘town hall’ type meetings. To improve the usability and flexibility of the office design, we installed folding walls in reception and the meeting rooms so that we could open up the entire space when it was needed. When the large auditorium space isn’t required, the individual meeting rooms can still be used. Every detail in this part of the office, down to the mobile reception desk, has been created with usability and flexibility in mind. Bright colours have been used in the office design to help uplift the space and the colourful office furniture is a vibrant part of the central flexible office space. Our design needed to transform the space into a destination that would make staff and members alike, proud to be in the new office environment. This came from a close collaboration with the team at FDF to ensure that staff were included on the journey”, says Peldon Rose
