theSkimm is a popular daily email newsletter service that delivers top news stories of the day directly into your inbox. Recently, the company renovated its office which is located in New York’s West Village.
“Designing the company’s office was a fun challenge in the way that collaborative projects with ambitious, opinionated people with good taste always are. The Skimm women knew what they were looking for but wanted some help in tying it all together. With our head of commercial design, Shelly Lynch-Sparks (and with help from our designer Justin DiPiero), the office went from dark and moody to bright, stylish and hyper-functional. Wall treatments by Chasing Paper, new lighting and specially designed writing rooms transformed the former “Funny or Die” offices into the perfect, sophisticated hub for The Skimm’s smarties”, said Homepolish
