A Tour of The Aviary’s Shared Workspace in Auckland

The Aviary is an experimental workspace based in Auckland, New Zealand, that serves as a home to local creative and innovative studios. The design was made by Think & Shift.

“The space features greenery scattered among cage-like wireframe structures, a subtle, reoccurring grid motif and a big black box squeezed into one corner, concealing a hidden virtual reality room. Bespoke designed sliding doors partially separate the Aviary’s meeting room from the lively collaborative space, a built in tree overhangs a light flooded seating platform and a Mako shark named Bruce guards the bathroom”, said Think & Shift
