A Peek Inside Angela Mortimer’s London Office
Angela Mortimer, a London-based recruitment consultancy that helps companies with employee recruitment, recently moved into a new office in London’s Soho neighborhood, which was designed by workplace design firm Interaction.
“Angela Mortimer wanted to make an impression on the very high calibre candidates that are needed to fulfil their most urgent client assignments. The consultancy also wanted to better support its head office staff needs as part of its recruitment and retention strategy. With a total reconfiguration of floor space, which had previously been arranged over several storeys, Interaction created a single floor plate that offered a simple yet varied choice of spaces. These included break out areas, hot desks, space for confidential calls and an increased number of smaller meeting rooms. Bespoke artwork helped to reinforce Angela Mortimer’s brand message and create a sense of place through its unique detailing. Following a rapid eight-week fit-out programme, Interaction has crafted a tapestry of work spaces for Angela Mortimer’s new head office that are suited to different work and social functions. These allow Angela Mortimer staff to move quickly from extreme concentration to telephone work and team discussion. The head office has an atmosphere charged with a vibrant and energetic ‘buzz’ that also offers quiet and relaxed areas. Warm and welcoming to staff and candidates, the office performs its function of strengthening Angela Mortimer’s business proposition, and fully exploits its prime position in the capital,” says Interaction
