Field Nation, a software company that connects businesses with on-demand freelancers, recently hired architecture & interior design firm Studio BV to design their new Minneapolis headquarters.
“Field Nation was looking to set up a new office in downtown Minneapolis, but not just any office. The company really wanted a space that would encompass the spirit of its tech solutions. Field Nation works to help companies connect with service providers to complete projects, which can be tracked through the utilization of the company’s mobile app. Its clients serve businesses such as Walmart, Starbucks, FedEx, Target, and McDonald’s. Completed in May of 2018, the new office was built out with the help of multiple companies, including Studio BV, Gardner LLC, and iSpace Environments. Consistent throughout the office space is the appearance of orange tubing that somewhat resembles a circuit board. This represents Field Nation’s connection to its clients, who are primarily independent contractors. This is also Field Nation’s first office of its own. Previously, the company was subletting a space. Highlights of the office include a countertop with a café-style design, communal lounges, quiet spaces, and employee activity areas, the latter of which include games of ping-pong and bags to help team members unwind. Field Nation’s new office focuses visually on innovation, yet maintains a level of practicality that is so important to getting things done.”
