A Tour of Zola’s New Cool NYC Townhouse

Zola, an innovative startup that transforms the way couples share, buy, and ship wedding gifts recently opened a new pop-up in New York’s SoHo district designed by Homepolish.

“At 43 Crosby Street, an unassuming glass front of a brick building announces “A Pop-up from Zola, designed with Homepolish.” And what lies inside is hardly expected. A small but eye-catching landing gives way to a steel-and-glass stairway leading down to a large basement area, beautiful products layered throughout. Designed by Homepolish’s Justin DiPiero, the immersive and interactive “townhouse” shopping experience brings Zola, the wedding registry site, to life. And just in time for spring wedding season. Early on in the project, it was clear to Justin that the space had to embody the tastes of the young, soon-to-be newlyweds who use the site. Rustic, eclectic, a little non-traditional. But how does one fit all of the products (from kitchen accessories to artwork) in one industrial space? Justin worked with the Zola creatives to make different home vignettes within the layout. As he says, “Zola and I wanted to create a retail experience that felt like coming home. Different environments from living room to kitchen, all layered with product.”” says Homepolish
