A Tour of Houzz’s New European Headquarters

Houzz, a popular online platform for home remodeling and design that connects homeowners, home design enthusiasts and home improvement professionals around the world, just moved into a new European headquarters, located in London’s new tech hub, King’s Cross.

“Creating an environment where Houzz staff feel like they’re part of a family was important to us. We’ve therefore created a home-from-home environment that the whole team, and their variety of nationalities, can enjoy. Houzz is an incredibly collaborative organisation, because of this, we designed the space to encourage team members to talk to and learn from each other – we have a completely open floor plan, and all meeting rooms have glass walls. The meeting rooms and break-out areas also represent a different room in the home, in a different European country. For example there’s a British garden room, Swedish midcentury living room, Berlin record room, UK boxing gym, Parisian loft, Spanish bathroom, and an Italian wardrobe”

  • Location: Kings Cross – London, England
  • Size: 13,325 square feet
  • Design: Tetris-Bluu
