A Quick Look Inside Edo’s Bristol Office

Edo, formerly Sift Digital is a digital agency designing customer-centred propositions, products & services for companies such as Ofcom, VW, Amnesty International and Tesco. After outgrowing their previous office space, Edo hired workplace design firm Interaction to design their new offices located in Bristol, England.

“Due to increasing growth and expansion a space that would be able to cater to the demands of the future was imperative. The Quorum in central Bristol was found and the undertaking began. The office fit-out took just five weeks, working closely with the Edo team to explore their culture and ensure their workplace supports their brand and the way they work. The design was based upon a clean and simple theme that runs throughout the space. The workspace comprises mainly of an open-plan area where people can work together effectively. At either end of the space there’s meeting and boardrooms, a variety of breakout spaces and collaboration spaces. Including a high desk with stools with a large whiteboard and a neatly tucked away private area for when solitary work is called for. There are also many personal touches dotted around the office, with artwork created by some of the team, personalised locker name cards and Bristol themed art, putting that stamp of their own on their new office interior. Wrapped around the office are large windows that frame the space and allow the office to be bright and light, whilst the bustling central Bristol can be viewed from practically anywhere. One of the highlights of the office design is the tea point, with a mix of grey, gloss and wood finish the clean and simple design looks funky and clean. A long bench coming from the bar allows the whole team to gather to socialise, eat and collaborate. The flooring design is also a highlight as it slowly breaks into the carpet with strips of wood which links the open plan space to the tea point, which really integrates the two different spaces effectively. The finished project is a workplace that can inspire creativity, enhance wellbeing, create more freedom for flexible working, convey personality and really reinforce a sense of community: all delivered snag free,” says Interaction
