A Tour of Vertex’s New King of Prussia HQ

Vertex, a software company that provides expert global tax solutions to businesses of all sizes, recently hired New York City-based architecture firm Francis Cauffman to design their new headquarters in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

“Francis Cauffman, a New York City-based architecture firm, conducted a study on the personality behaviors of the more than 700 employees of Vertex and found a prevalence of introverted workers. To best meet their needs in a collaborative office environment, the design team incorporated a gentle circulation curve on the floor plan. Other factors taken into consideration to insulate the concentrating worker included clustered workstations and wider aisles. The resulting design of their new headquarters is a fresh, modern, light-filled, comfortable, and technology-rich workplace to support Vertex’s future vision and business goals. The aesthetic reflects a collegiate, people-oriented culture with warm, inviting materials, colors and finishes. Office features showcase sit-to-stand desks, a sustainable green wall in the town hall, and a self-service kiosk for healthy meals and snacks.”
