A Tour of Trivago’s New Düsseldorf Headquarters
Trivago, a technology company that allows people to compare hotel prices worldwide, recently hired architectural firms raum.atelier and SOP Architects to design their new office in Düsseldorf, Germany.
“It was a highly exciting task for us to develop and created efficient workspaces and a lot of creative spaces. The results are functional open-space spaces and many individual theme rooms. Trivago employs an above-average number of young people from different nations. They can and should expressly live a modern corporate culture – in offices that make this possible. We developed an unconventional concept that allows for constant communication with each other. In short: a concept that promotes learning and creativity. In addition to workplaces in the open space have emerged many attractive areas, such as think tanks, lounge zones, conference rooms and tea kitchens. A special feature are the conference rooms: employees can become godparents for rooms that are designed according to their country of origin. Trivago is a very multinational company and therefore you want to show and appreciate this diversity. Additional areas with canteen, cinema and gym room reflect the diversity of the innovative corporate culture,” says raum.atelier
