Inside TomTom’s Modern New London Office

Navigation technology company TomTom recently relocated into a new London office, which was designed by workplace design firm Peldon Rose.

“This office relocation was about moving into a space that would give their people a more connected environment which could support their strong community culture. We kept the office bright and open with pockets of collaboration areas, desking and meeting spaces. We were able to maximise the flow of natural light throughout the office by limiting the use of solid partitions. The theme we introduced into the space was a play on East London meets West London. This became a balance between residential and industrial elements, keeping a clean modern design with urban details introduced throughout the space. We removed ceiling tiles to help break up the space and installed plants, timber and soft seating to create a calm, informal workspace. The meeting rooms were inspired by the surrounding area to resemble the facades of traditional pubs. This was a way to add character to the space and bring something unique that reflected TomTom’s new location,” says Peldon Rose
