A Look Inside Edifice Consultants’ New Mumbai Office

Architecture and development firm Edifice Consultants recently moved into a new office in Mumbai, India, which they designed themselves.

“The practice views the studio as a source of their creative energy and an embodiment of their values. The open–plan office fosters communication across disciplines and hierarchies in an ode to the collaborative nature of work at Edifice Consultants. Each space is thoughtfully designed to catalyze and facilitate the creative process, from daylight–filled working areas punctuated with greenery and discussion zones with writable walls for spontaneous ideation.

The material palette is also expressive of the firm’s guiding principles: polished MDF, treated exposed Mild Steel, Oriented Strand Board walls, and exposed ceilings are symbolic of their focus on integrity and transparency, while animal-print fabric and patterned upholstery reveal the lively, creative streak of the office.”
