Loescher Meachem Architects/LMA was created in 2012 by architects John Meachem and Ben Loescher. As former colleagues in firm leadership at Clive Wilkinson Architects, John and Ben honed their working relationship to capitalize on their respective knowledge and experience. In 2012, the pair left CWa to re-engage in direct involvement in day to day practice.

Initially formed to support two significant workplace projects being designed by Bestor Architecture, the practice quickly assembled a team of innovators, designers and subject matter experts to extend its own capabilities for large design-oriented projects, synthesizing creativity with technical and problem-solving capabilities.

LMA is now one of Los Angeles’ most talked about architectural practices, specializing in design and construction of cutting-edge creative workplace and adaptive re-use projects. In addition to working for a portfolio of respected businesses and institutions, LMA also provides project management, production and administration services to other designers and architects who wish to leverage LMA’s experience to benefit their own firms.
