A Look Inside Kayak’s Elegant London Office

Kayak is a very popular travel platform that helps users find best hotel, flight and car rental deals. While headquarterted in Stamford, Connecticut, Kayak also has many other locations around the world, London included. Their London office was designed by Peldon Rose.

“KAYAK wanted a minimalistic office design, with the only splash of colour being their corporate colour, orange. Being newly refurbished, with natural oak flooring throughout, we used the exposed brickwork, air condition units and ductwork as features to create a clean, contemporary office interior. Bespoke manifestations were created to match their corporate identity as a tech company making online travel better. The design of these allowed the office to remain light and open, enhancing its features. A quirky feature within the design was a bike rack on the wall as the company are keen cyclists – So we also installed a large shower room to allow staff to cycle to work”, said Peldon Rose
