A Look Inside KPS Media’s New London Office

Global digital transformation consultancy KPS Media recently hired interior design firm Peldon Rose to design their new office in London, England.

“KPS relocated to 22 Worple Road, around the corner from the original Envoy Digital premises. As an empty shell, it provided us with an ideal blueprint to incorporate all the design requirements with ease. KPS is the first tenant in the newly renovated building and we were the first contractors on site – so we wanted this project to really make its mark.

Introducing collaborative working space to bring people together was the key design vision. The previous office had several large meeting rooms that had presented some limitations, so KPS wanted several smaller client-facing rooms introduced into the new floor plan. They also wanted the main board room to be flexible, with folding doors to create two smaller rooms when required. The main office is open plan, with workstations based around a central hub and a large statement co-working desk. A central ‘Town Hall’ area was designed for large employee gatherings, such as weekly, monthly or quarterly events. Back to back sofas allow for casual seating on one side and agile working on the reverse.

One of the most welcoming spaces is in the kitchen and gaming area, combined to enhance usage and flow. Here people are encouraged to relax, have lunch with colleagues or play a game of table tennis. High tables allow for an impromptu meeting over coffee or simply just a place to ‘get away’. A cork walled area was also installed to allow the team to personalise it with pinned artefacts.

A Wimbledon location should not be without a link to the tennis – with meeting rooms dedicated to the theme. Three comfy seated booth areas were placed in the centre of the office and are aptly named ‘game’, ‘set’ and ‘match’ – with accessible swivel tables and overhanging plants.

The KPS brand identity was the inspiration for the stylish look and feel of this project and this is visually apparent. The KPS brand is reflected throughout the office from rugs to soft-furnishings, and is even incorporated into kitchen tiling, as well as the multi-coloured flooring.”
