Cosmetic products company L’Oréal hired architecture and interior design firm Churina Design to design their new office in Kyiv, Ukraine.

“A refined color palette dominates the entire interior, with natural tones creating an ambiance of tranquility and comfort. The project’s primary objective was to craft an innovative office environment, rich with functional zones catering to both productivity and the relaxation needs of the team. L’Oréal Ukraine Office has embraced the Activity Based Working concept, allowing employees the freedom to choose their workspace.

Depending on tasks and personal preferences, they can spend the day in an open-space area, a closed meeting room for business calls, or organize brainstorming sessions with colleagues in a presentation and training auditorium. During breaks, staff can recharge in the silence room, engage in friendly competition in the game room, or unwind with a cup of aromatic coffee in the stylish kitchen-dining area.

One of the coziest corners of the office is the greenhouse with panoramic windows. Here, the landscape of the bustling city outside harmoniously intertwines with the oasis of live plants within the office interior. The ambient sounds of birdsong, subtly piped in through speakers, enhance the relaxation experience. Adjacent to the greenhouse, a soundproofed library offers an ideal retreat for quiet work or meditation. Ergonomic furniture and inclusive design of the office ensure both comfort for employees and visitors alike. Conceptual design solutions have been implemented with the compliance of all rules and restrictions during the pandemic.
